Live as Phenomena
In this work, I transform images derived from my own body’s cells into three-dimensional digital forms, seeking to visualize the phenomenon of life itself. Cells are in constant motion—dividing, mutating, and interacting with their surroundings. They embody the act of living, independent from our conscious awareness, yet inseparable from our existence.
The transparent, fluid figure presented against a backdrop of clouds and sky reflects this continuity. The boundary between self and environment is never absolute; at the cellular level, our bodies are in perpetual exchange with the world around us. This piece captures that state of flux and uncertainty, embodying the moment when existence reveals itself as a phenomenon.
The title, Live as Phenomena, speaks to a perspective that transcends the individual human self, recognizing existence not as a fixed entity but as an ever-emerging phenomenon within its environment. By making this visible, I hope to invite viewers to reconsider their own sense of self and the ways in which life unfolds as an event rather than an object.
