This work was created through a collaboration with lightning. Using a lightning-triggering rocket, I induced a lightning strike and directed its energy onto the canvas.

The resulting marks are not drawn by hand alone. They are formed through an encounter between human intention and one of nature's most powerful phenomena. Each trace records a unique event that can never be repeated in exactly the same way.

I am interested in how natural forces can become active participants in the creation of art. In this work, the canvas serves as a site where the sky leaves its own mark, transforming a fleeting atmospheric event into a physical image.
